Savory Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs featuring green olives, honey mustard, pepper, and mayonnaise. Recipe makes 24 appetizers.
Ingredients -
12 Eggs, hard cooked, shelled, cut lengthwise in half
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Honey Mustard
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon Pimiento Stuffed Olives, chopped
 
Preparation:

1. Spoon yolks into small bowl. Place egg white halves on serving plate.

2. Mash yolks with fork.

3. Stir mayonnaise, honey mustard and pepper into yolks.

4. Fold ½ cup chopped olives into yolk mixture.

5. Spoon savory deviled egg mixture into egg whites.

6. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of chopped olives over eggs as garnish.

7. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Pimiento Stuffed Olives
Pimiento stuffed olives are green olives, and are found in every supermarket. Chop the olives and allow to drain on paper towel so excess moisture escapes.

Hard Cooked Eggs
For a decorative tough, use a piping bag and fill eggs by piping deviled egg mixture into egg white halves. Takes some practice, but worth the effort.
