Cooking Tip
The Best Hard-Boiled Eggs
The best hard-boiled eggs are hardly boiled at all. For the best texture and flavor, place large eggs in a single layer on the bottom of the pan and add enough water to come about one inch over the top of the eggs. Bring water to a rapid boil, cover the pan, remove from heat, and let sit for 17 minutes. Once cooked, immediately rinse the eggs with cold water to stop the cooking process.
