Cooking Tip
Raw or Hard-Boiled
There is an easy method to tell if an egg is raw or hard-boiled. Spin the egg on a hard surface such as a countertop. The inside of a hard-boiled egg is solid and moves together, which allows the egg to spin. The inside of a raw egg is loose and sloshes in all directions, which will cause the egg to fall over or fly off in a direction. Undercooked eggs will spin, but will be unsteady and wobbly.
